What Movie Wordle is

Movie Wordle is a score-based daily movie puzzle. Each round begins with 10 points, and players decide how much information to spend in order to identify the answer. Instead of revealing a poster, cast list, or plot summary immediately, the game asks players to choose from a curated set of clues and solve with as little waste as possible.

The format is built for players who enjoy film recall, metadata, and review language rather than pure screenshot recognition. A good solve should feel earned: early facts narrow the field, later clues sharpen the identity of the movie, and every wrong guess carries a cost.

How the experience is designed

Review clues should sound like criticism or reputation, not a scene-by-scene recap. Movie data, clue wording, and archive behavior may continue to evolve as the project matures. We may update clues, fix metadata, remove problematic source material, or refine game rules when doing so improves accuracy, fairness, or usability.

Availability and archive rules

The daily puzzle resets on an America/New_York schedule. Today's puzzle is always played on the home page. The Past Games calendar shows the current month for orientation, but only the seven most recent published past puzzles are playable. This keeps the archive useful without exposing the live daily answer.

Movie Wordle is still an active product build. We expect continued improvements in editorial quality, support content, legal pages, archive presentation, accessibility, and monetization readiness.
