Movie Wordle is designed to operate with limited personal data. In its current form, ordinary gameplay does not require a user account. Most gameplay continuity is handled through local browser storage on your own device. We may also process limited technical information needed to keep the service secure, available, and functional.

Information stored locally on your device

To preserve puzzle progress, Movie Wordle may store gameplay state in your browser. This can include the puzzle date, revealed facts, revealed clues, submitted guesses, win or loss status, and other state needed to restore an unfinished or completed round on the same device and browser.

• Local storage is used to keep separate puzzle dates from overwriting one another.
• Locally stored game state is generally controlled by your browser and device.
• You can usually remove this data by clearing site storage in your browser settings.

Technical information we may receive

Depending on the hosting setup, the site may receive standard server and request information such as IP address, browser type, device characteristics, request paths, timestamps, referrer data, and basic diagnostics. This information may be used for security, fraud prevention, uptime monitoring, debugging, and service performance.
